I photographed Daisy’s Mum’s wedding last December, so it was good to see her and stepdad Andrew again last week, for a shoot in the studio – the aim being some basic portfolio shots before signing up with modelling/acting agencies.
You can get all clever with lighting (and I tried, they were here for hours) but sometimes a simply-lit face-front shot can stand out. I felt this was a strong image even on the titchy screen on the back of my camera.
I’m supposed to notice details, but I have to admit I didn’t realise Daisy’s earrings were different colours, and that they were…daisies!
